You'll lead mid-sized technical projects, create and refine CNC programs, and use Lean thinking to improve quality, efficiency, and overall business performance. This position blends hands-on CNC programming, deep manufacturing knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration—working both in the office and on the shop floor. What You'll Do
Develop and optimize machining processes for new and repaired turbine, compressor, and stator components
Create CNC programs directly from CAD models and engineering drawings
Support fixture design, tooling selection, and process implementation
Prove out programs on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills, lathes, mill/turn, grinders, and EDM equipment
Support first-article builds and ensure smooth transition to production
Troubleshoot machining issues and continuously improve cycle time, tool life, and process capability
Maintain controlled CNC programs and shop-level procedures

Experience machining aerospace materials such as Nickel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum alloys
Ability to interpret GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications
Solid understanding of gas turbine manufacturing processes and 3D CAD modeling
Experience with inspection methods such as CMM, laser/white-light scanning, and precision gages
Familiarity with Siemens Sinumerik, FANUC, and Heidenhain controls, macro programming, and probing (a plus)
Knowledge of FAA PMA and RS-DER requirements (preferred)
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
