Job Description

The CNC Machinist supports precision machining operations by developing and refining CNC programs for complex components across multiple machine platforms. This role translates engineering designs into efficient manufacturing processes, including tool selection, workholding strategies, and toolpath development using CAM software. The position partners closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve manufacturability, support new product introduction, and drive continuous improvement in cycle time, quality, and cost. Work Model:
On-Site What You Will Do:
Create and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines Translate engineering models and drawings into precise machining workflows Design fixtures and workholding for stable, repeatable setups Troubleshoot machining issues and improve programs and processes Analyze quality data and lead root cause investigations Drive process improvements to reduce cycle time, tool wear, and scrap What You Will Need to
Be Successful:
Associate degree in manufacturing, machining, or related field, or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of CNC machining and programming experience Proficient in CAM software such as Edgecam, GibbsCAM, or Siemens NX Strong knowledge of machining principles, geometry, and trigonometry Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering prints Effective communicator with a problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement
