Do you enjoy turning challenging prints into beautifully repeatable parts? Do you live inside Mastercam, and thrive on dialing in toolpaths, fixtures, and speeds until everything just runs? You will Independently program and set up CNC mills and lathes from engineering drawings. Create optimized Mastercam toolpaths that balance cycle time, surface finish, and tool life. Select workholding, fixtures, and tooling appropriate for tight-tolerance machining. Tune feeds and speeds to suit material and geometry, then prove out on the machine. Resolve machining and program issues in real time, keeping parts on spec and on schedule. Run first-article and in-process inspections to verify critical dimensions and features. Continuously improve safety, quality, and efficiency in the tool room and production. Support broader production needs with a strong sense of ownership. Perform other duties as assigned. You have 5+ years of CNC programming and setup on both milling and turning centers. Advanced Mastercam expertise. Proven precision machining capability holding tight tolerances. Blueprint fluency, including GD&T. A track record of troubleshooting and optimizing programs and setups. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Bonus points Tool room or R D prototype background. Experience with complex geometries and multi-operation parts. Strong grasp of fixturing, workholding, and process planning.
