Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer & Setup Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, machine setup, operating and maintaining Haas CNC mills and lathes. Duties Program, setup and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring all parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including tooling changes, calibration, and inspections to prevent downtime. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality of machined parts. Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including material handling, fabrication, and packaging. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; Document production data accurately in logs or reports for quality control purposes. Qualifications At least 3 years experience with programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing setting. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Prior experience with CAD software for part design review preferred. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions and tolerances accurately. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards in a factory environment. Prior factory experience working within a manufacturing facility is preferred; familiarity with safety protocols is essential.
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
