Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC CAM Programmer to join our team, focusing on the development of high-precision machining strategies for complex components. You will leverage your expertise in Mastercam and CAD modeling to drive production efficiency and ensure the highest quality standards for our specialized manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Develop and refine complex toolpaths and machining strategies to maximize production output. Translate technical CAD models and engineering specifications into efficient CNC programs. Apply advanced GD&T principles to guarantee part accuracy and maintain strict tolerances. Collaborate with engineering and shop floor teams to troubleshoot processes and optimize cycle times. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including setup sheets and standardized work instructions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance programming workflows. Required Skills 5+ years of professional CNC programming experience. Advanced proficiency with Mastercam or equivalent industry-standard CAM software. Proven ability to generate programs from scratch using CAD data. Deep understanding of modern machining processes, tooling, and G-code. Strong working knowledge of GD&T and technical blueprint interpretation. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hands-on production environment. Preferred Skills Experience with machining plastics, composites, or similar high-performance materials. Familiarity with simulation tools like Vericut to validate machining strategies. Proficiency in multi-axis (4/5-axis) programming and setup. Experience with Renishaw probing systems and machine calibration. Exposure to macro programming and NC code optimization techniques.
