Direct w/ Full Benefits #cncprogramming #aerospacejobs #manufacturingengineering Job Summary We are requesting a skilled CNC Programmer to support manufacturing operations. This role is critical for ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe machining of aerospace components. The programmer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC programs to support production and engineering requirements. Job Duties- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for multi‑axis machining centers.
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to validate machining processes.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.
- Perform program prove‑outs and assist operators with setup and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous‑improvement efforts in machining efficiency and process stability.
- Ensure all work complies with GE Aerospace safety, quality, and documentation standards.
- Step in and assist other teams on your product line as needed. Could be tasked to assist MEs and QEs with certain needs. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of CNC programming experience (5+ preferred).
- Strong proficiency with Fanuc, Mazak, Siemens, or similar CNC controls.
- Experience programming in Mastercam, CATIA, NX, or comparable CAM software.
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T, aerospace blueprints, and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of machining processes for metals such as titanium, Inconel, and aluminum.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication skills
- Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Aerospace machining experience.
- Experience with multi‑axis (3, 4, or 5‑axis) machining centers.
- Familiarity with GE documentation/control systems.
- Ability to support both production and NPI (new product introduction).
