Job Description

Indy Aerospace is an independently owned manufacturer searching for Programmer to assist in design and production of aerospace parts.
Qualified candidate will have:
Hands-on experience working with various materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and wood, etc. The ability to program and operate mill machinery utilizing software such as SolidWorks and Mastercam or other CAD/CAM software, fabricating products that meet drawing specifications with very tight tolerances. The ability to ensure the quality of our products by following inspection protocols, detecting and correcting errors before products are released. Prior Aerospace industry experience (preferred). Be comfortable working with minimal supervision, using various shop tools, and maintaining CNC machinery. Experience with Haas
CNC 2 & 3 & 5
axis mills and Press Brake preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain/coordinate E-files, including company/customer drawings, Specs, Price Lists etc. Design and maintain records of new and existing customer products including drawings and design files in AutoCAD. And testing of products as required. Ability to program and operate mill machinery utilizing CAD/CAM softwares. Conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly. Ensure the quality of our products by following inspection protocols, detecting and correcting errors before products are released. Plan and track project timelines Responsible in verifying items ordered by customer are within company's design capabilities and that bill of material is correct to meet customer specifications. Create innovative approaches to address challenging opportunities. Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department. Must be able to pass drug tests per FAA regulations.
