Full-time Laser Programmer:
In-person We are seeking an experienced Laser Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and executing precision machining operations using advanced laser systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex engineering documentation in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering sketches, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, and machining parameters. Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Analyze drawings and design data to calculate accurate part dimensions. Set up and operate the TLC Trumpf 5 Laser system . Monitor operations, take measurements, detect malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and adjust or reprogram controls as needed. Follow all quality assurance procedures to maintain part specifications. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, fixtures, gauges). Verify dimensional accuracy and ensure parts meet specified tolerances. Read instrumentation and gauges accurately. Wear proper PPE and follow all company safety rules. Qualifications 5-10 years of experience as a Laser Programmer in a multi‑axis machining environment. Experience programming and operating laser machines. Proficient with MasterCam . Strong problem‑solving and conceptual skills. Excellent communication skills for working with operators, engineers, and customers. Strong mathematical, mechanical, and technical aptitude. Experience setting up and troubleshooting laser machines. Ability to create and mount fixtures. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Intermediate to advanced shop math skills. AS9100 quality system awareness . Experience working with common and exotic metals. Proven ability to multi‑task in a high‑throughput environment. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace. High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience). Training in general safety awareness. Ability to read and write English fluently and follow verbal/written instructions.Job Type:
