CNC Machinist/Programmer

CNC Machinist/Programmer $25-32per hour

First Shift Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with job shop experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating CNC machines and possess a strong understanding of machining processes, job set-up, and programming. Opportunity to take on more responsibility and larger role with company.

Duties:

In order to successfully perform the position you must be able to do the following: Manual Machining Able to run vertical CNC mills and CNC lathe Able to read and understand blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems without assistance from supervisor. Understanding of FANUC machines and programming in G and M codes Okuma lathes Understands and able to set up job/work piece unassisted. Proficient with standard measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauge, etc. Good math knowledge of geometry and shop math. Good manual dexterity and mechanical ability. Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others. Attention to detail and maintain a clean orderly work area.
