Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to ensure precise and efficient machining processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to producing high-quality components with tight tolerances, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in CAD/CAM software, and experience with various CNC machinery, including lathes and milling machines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities - MUST
KNOW LONG PROGRAMMING
Develop and write CNC programs using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as Mastercam or CATIA for various machine tools including CNC lathes and milling machines Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate machining processes Set up and optimize CNC machines by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters in accordance with project requirements Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to implement lean manufacturing principles, reduce waste, and improve machining efficiency Conduct precision measurements using tools such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and bore gauges to verify part dimensions and quality Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, geometry, or machine performance; adjust programs as needed for optimal results Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, tool changes, and process adjustments for quality control and continuous improvement Experience Proven experience programming CNC machinery using Fanuc controls or similar systems Strong background in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks for part design and modification Hands-on experience with CNC lathe and CNC milling machine operations in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus Familiarity with GD&T standards for precise measurement and quality assurance Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance workflow efficiency Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling selection, schematics, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems involved in machining processes Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate them into effective CNC programs using CAM programming techniques Join us if you're passionate about precision machining, eager to innovate within a fast-paced environment, and committed to producing top-tier components through expert CNC programming!
