CNC Programmer/Machinist - 2nd shift

As an essential business, we produce small to medium-sized metal stampings for various markets, including automotive, appliance, industrial, and safety. Recently we have expanded our market reach to include small lot production machining of exotic materials for the Aerospace industries. We continue to expand this capability and are looking for the right individual to assist with this development.

Position Overview :

The CNC Programmer/Machinist is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 3-Axis CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. Additional responsibilities include operating WEDM and Automatic Surface Grinders. This is a 2ND SHIFT position with a 5% shift differential on top of the base pay listed.

Key Responsibilities :

Program CNC equipment using Mastercam to machine a variety materials like Tool Steels, Stainless Steel, Inconel, Aluminum and Brass. Develop workflows and write efficient programs using CAD/CAM software. Set up and operate CNC equipment, ensuring conformance to specifications through precise measurement. Adjust machine controls, tooling, and operations for optimal performance. Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Vocational/technical school education preferred with at least six years of relevant experience. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and a strong understanding of machining operations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and improve processes.
