Senior CNC Programmer Billerica, MA | $90,000 - $145,000 Join a precision manufacturing team producing complex components for the semiconductor, medical device, biotechnology, aerospace, and advanced industrial sectors. This is an opportunity to program cutting-edge CNC equipment, influence machining strategy, and drive continuous improvement in a highly technical environment. Benefits and Compensation $90,000 - $145,000 base salary Medical insurance (company pays up to 75% of premium) Dental and vision insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage 401(k) with 4% company match Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and professional development Stable, growing manufacturing environment Requirements & Qualifications 7+ years of CNC programming experience in a precision machining environment Strong experience programming CNC mills and lathes, including 3, 4, and/or 5-axis equipment Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, Esprit, NX CAM, or similar Ability to read blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements Strong understanding of G-code, tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and machining processes Experience troubleshooting machining issues and optimizing production processes Must Haves Develop, validate, and optimize CNC programs for complex machined components Create machining strategies to improve cycle times, tool life, and overall equipment effectiveness Lead program prove-outs, first-article validations, and new product launches Select tooling, fixtures, workholding, and cutting parameters for efficient production Create setup documentation, process instructions, and programming standards Mentor machinists, setup technicians, and junior programmers Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve technical challenges Preferred Background & Skills Experience with Swiss machining, mill-turn, or multi-tasking equipment Aerospace, medical device, semiconductor, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing experience CAD experience with SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, or similar software Fixture design and process development experience Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement background ERP/MRP system experience Strong leadership, communication, and project prioritization skills
