The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, geometry, and mechanical systems to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. Duties Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations using CAD/CAM software. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to create accurate programs. Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), to verify part dimensions and tolerances. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the production process. Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed. Ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards throughout the programming process. Experience Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of machining processes. Familiarity with geometry concepts related to machining and part design. Experience with GD&T principles is highly desirable. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
