Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The CNC Programmer position coordinates the activities of CNC programming providing accurate, efficient, well documented and archived programs for the machine shop.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Recommend procedures for cost reduction and continuous improvement Ability to generate and edit NC code thru all shop processes in an accurate and timely fashion Ability to work independently and in group setting. Follows procedures for NC code and file saving 2D and solid model programming Assume additional related responsibilities as assigned Be available for overtime during high volume seasons
REQUIREMENTS
(Education and Experience) Able to read blue prints. 3+ years' experience programming CNC lathes, milling centers, wire EDM, and water jets machines. High school or equivalent diploma Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics Working knowledge of GD&T • Working knowledge of Mastercam. SoildWorks a plus.
