Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating programs for precision milling operations, setting up and operating CNC machines, and ensuring the accuracy of machined parts using precision measurement tools. Your expertise in AutoCAD, MasterCAM, and Fusion will be essential for success. Responsibilities Develop and optimize CNC programs using AutoCAD, MasterCAM, and Fusion to maximize efficiency and quality. Set up, operate, and maintain 5-axis mills to achieve precise milling results. Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools, including band saws, surface grinders, and manual mills, to support machining operations. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to determine machining operations and plan the optimal sequence of operations. Verify the dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators to ensure adherence to quality standards. Maintain equipment by performing periodic preventive maintenance tasks as outlined in the Preventive Maintenance Directive. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing programs and operating 5-axis mills. Proficiency in using AutoCAD software. Strong understanding of GD&T principles. Experience with CNC tooling and troubleshooting. Preferred Skills Experience with MasterCAM and Fusion software. Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming. Familiarity with CNC machine repair and setup.
