Responsibilities:

Execute complex setups for 3 and 5-axis CNC equipment, ensuring all attachments and parts are aligned with project specifications. Identify and resolve discrepancies in machine programming and performance to maintain continuous production flow. Interpret blueprints and work orders to complete rigorous inspection sheets; utilize CMM, calipers, micrometers, and gage pins to ensure 100% accuracy. Load and verify instructions within CNC equipment based on programmer specifications, often managing multiple machines simultaneously. Perform Preventive Maintenance (PMP) duties and collaborate with engineering and management to optimize machine longevity.

Skills:

Familiarity with ISO9001 standards and CMM equipment is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in CNC machining (specifically with 3 and 5-axis platforms). Proficiency in Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM environments. Comprehensive understanding of tooling varieties, including endmills, bullnose, ballnose, chamfer mills, and drills. Advanced ability to use precision measurement tools and a thorough command of the decimal system.
