Job Description
Program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers to produce prototype and production parts that meet aerospace and automotive specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines. 1st Shift Position - 7:00AM-3:30PM Key Responsibilities Create and edit CNC programs from 3D models and drawings using CAM software (Mastercam, NX, Powermill or similar) for 3-5 axis machining Proficiency with CNC controls including Fanuc, Heidenhain, Haas, Mazak, and Okuma. Select tooling, cutter paths, feeds, and speeds across materials including aluminum, steel, titanium, and high-temp alloys Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T to meet tight tolerances Set up and run jobs independently, including fixturing, offsets, and heat shrink tooling Operate multiple machines and support cross-machine production as needed Inspect parts, support FAI/FAIR and PPAP, and ensure print compliance Troubleshoot issues and optimize programs for efficiency and quality Train team members, track job time, and follow safety/LOTO procedures Qualifications High school diploma required; CNC or manufacturing education preferred 5+ years CNC programming experience (aerospace/automotive/ defense preferred) Proficiency in CAM software and 3-5 axis machining Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, and inspection skills (CMM a plus) Familiarity with
