CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer - Jackson, MI 1st Shift | $30-$35/hour (DOE) We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, maintain, and optimize CNC programs while supporting production, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam or manual methods Perform machine setups and first article inspections Operate CNC milling and/or turning centers Follow process control plans to ensure quality and consistency Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using precision tools Support tooling, fixture, and process development Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment Assist with inspection of other machinists' setups as needed

Qualifications:

Strong CNC machining and programming experience Proficiency with Mastercam (or similar CAM software) Ability to execute complex setups and understand tooling fundamentals Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
