You'll move from programming a CNC to setting it up for a new run, machining tooling components to tight tolerances, and verifying that every part you produce meets exacting standards. Throughout the shift, you'll help keep the area organized and safe, support company goals, and contribute ideas that eliminate waste and improve flow. Core responsibilities Set up and program CNC equipment for a variety of tooling and machine details. Machine parts to close tolerances and verify conformance using appropriate inspection methods. Own the quality of all tooling components produced. Participate actively in waste‑reduction/Lean meetings and initiatives. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area and care for equipment. Align daily work with the company's objectives and production targets. Skills and knowledge Proficient blueprint reading. Working knowledge of
IATF16949, ISO
14001, and Q1 compliance standards. Comfort using computers, calculators, and machine control panels. Mindset for success Thrives in a fast‑paced setting and consistently meets production standards. Positive, proactive problem solver with strong ownership. Meticulous attention to detail. Physical demands and schedule Periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions are part of the role. Excellent manual dexterity; able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion. Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with continuous noise exposure. Willing and able to work overtime when required.
