In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes, technical drawings, and measurement instruments will drive efficiency and excellence in our production line. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and technology in a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to manufacturing high-quality products. Duties Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment with precision and safety awareness. Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining. Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments including bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions and tolerances. Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize machining processes, reduce waste, and improve workflow. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to electrical discharge machining (EDM), CNC lathe, or milling machines to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings during setup and operation. Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype development, tooling design, and process improvements utilizing CAD/CAM programming skills. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code. Proficiency with CAD software like SolidWorks or CATIA for designing parts or modifying existing models. Familiarity with GD&T principles for precise measurement and quality control of machined components. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tooling selection, geometry calculations, and machining techniques. Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and bore gauges. Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts to streamline operations and enhance productivity. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot CNC issues effectively.
