Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer to set up, program, and operate CNC Lathes. In this role, you will be instrumental in producing high-quality tooling and prototypes, ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional products. Responsibilities Program CNC Lathes to produce tooling and prototypes, optimizing for small lot sizes and multiple setups. Write, download, and edit programs, troubleshooting as needed to maintain efficient operations. Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain quality control by accurately gauging parts and holding tight tolerances (±.0001). Operate CNC Lathe, ensuring efficient and safe production. Apply knowledge of multiple types of controls to optimize machining processes. Qualifications Required Skills Proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating CNC Lathes. Strong programming skills, including the ability to write and edit programs. Solid understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T. Experience with quality control and precision gauging. Preferred Skills Familiarity with CNC Mills (3-4 axis VMC) such as Okuma, Haas, ProtoTRAK, Doosan, Kitamura, Brother, or Hurco. Experience with CNC Mills (5+ axis VMC) such as Mitsubishi, Haas, Okuma, Kitamura, DMG Mori Seiki, Mikron, or Matsuura. Knowledge of multiple types of CNC controls.
