Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Swiss CNC Machine Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating precision CNC machines, including Swiss-type lathes, to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Program, set up, and optimize CNC Swiss‑type lathes (Citizen and Tsugami) Create and modify programs using CAM software Esprit Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements Select tooling, determine machining strategies, and optimize cycle times Perform machine setups, offsets, and first‑article inspections Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure consistent part quality Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams Maintain documentation, setup sheets, and process notes Ensure compliance with ISO and quality standards Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices Qualifications 3+ years of experience programming CNC Swiss‑type machines Strong knowledge of G‑code and CAM programming Experience with multi‑axis Swiss machines (5-12 axis preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, CMM experience is a plus) Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles High commitment to quality and safety Preferred Experience (Not Required) Experience machining medical‑grade materials (titanium, stainless steel, plastics) Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles Experience with high‑volume production environments Background in regulated industries (medical, aerospace, defense) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and retirement benefits Paid time off and holidays Modern, clean, climate‑controlled facility Opportunities for training and career advancement Supportive team environment focused on craftsmanship and precision
