CNC Setup/Programmer is a salaried or exempt position (please ignore rate of pay Indeed has posted) The CNC programmer utilizes CAD/CAM software to develop programs to control contour-path machining of Aluminum parts on CNC mill and lathe machining centers. Responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. Troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Ensures conformance to established procedures and Engineering Specifications. Must be self-confident and pay close attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent. High competence in fields of CNC machines, tooling and programming 5 Years CNC set-up and programming experience Proficiency in programming software and (MasterCam) and CAD (Solidworks) Must have in-depth knowledge of CNC safety practices and use of Personal Protective Equipment Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word Strong knowledge of G+M codes Experience with GD&T Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
MasterCam certification Vericut and autoCAD Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Good understanding of trigonometry Knowledge of Fanuc B-Macro programming (or willing to learn) Experience with 3 & 4 Axis Mills No recruiters please
