CNC Programmer Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in multi-axis milling machining processes, CAD/CAM software, and blueprint interpretation, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling machining Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements. Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machine setups. Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to ensure efficient workflow. Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions. Perform test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and accuracy. Maintain program documentation and revision control Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Gibbs, SolidWorks are highly preferred) Strong understanding of G-code Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-axis machining (3, 4, or 5-axis). Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Previous experience in a high-precision or high-volume production environment. Experience with ERP system (Epicor) and Gibbs CAM software is highly preferred GD&T knowledge is a big plus Compensation & Benefits:
