You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our high-precision components meet rigorous quality standards while mentoring team members to improve overall shop floor efficiency. Responsibilities Develop and refine complex CNC programs to maximize machine throughput and part accuracy. Oversee the setup and operation of multi-axis lathes, ensuring seamless transitions between production runs. Perform critical dimensional inspections using precision metrology tools to guarantee compliance with engineering specifications. Analyze technical drawings and blueprints to determine the most efficient machining sequences and tooling strategies. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize cycle times. Maintain a high standard of workplace organization and adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a productive environment. Qualifications Required Skills Extensive experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical blueprints and geometric tolerances. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in manual machining. Proven ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing setting. Preferred Skills Advanced proficiency in modern CAD/CAM software suites. Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC lathe systems. Background in producing custom, high-tolerance components for specialized industries. Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to machine operators.
