CNC Programmer We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support our precision manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to support production requirements while ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to engineering specifications. The CNC Programmer will collaborate closely with manufacturing leadership, engineers, and machine operators to ensure smooth machining operations and consistent production output. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam for milling and turning operations. Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Production Control, and Machine Operators to support production needs and maintain machine uptime. Program and support machining processes including 2-3 axis milling and turning across equipment platforms such as Okuma, Haas, Mazak, and FANUC controls . Utilize SolidWorks CAD models to support programming and machining processes. Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications . Select and optimize cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding , including end mills, drills, inserts, and custom fixtures. Maintain organized documentation including CNC programs, setup sheets, and revision records . Perform first article prove-outs with machine operators or independently to ensure program accuracy and machining quality. Troubleshoot machining issues and revise programs to correct errors, improve efficiency, and optimize performance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or college coursework in machining or manufacturing technology is preferred . Minimum of 8 years of machining experience , including at least 4 years of CNC programming experience . Strong working knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and programming best practices. Ability to work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to support shop scheduling and meet production targets. Experience working in a collaborative shop environment , with an understanding of shop-level operations and workforce coordination. Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
