Set up and operate CNC equipment, including Fanuc-controlled machines, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and calibration are in place before production runs. Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and bore gauges to verify dimensional accuracy. Optimize machining processes through lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall quality. Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, geometry, electrical discharge machining (EDM), or machine programming to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, adjustments, and inspection results for quality control and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience Proven experience in CNC programming for both milling machines and lathes in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with Fanuc controls and familiarity with other control systems such as Siemens or Haas is preferred. Hands-on experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD for designing or modifying parts before programming. Knowledge of CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software for generating efficient tool paths. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and improve productivity. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling selection, fixture setup, machining parameters, and precision measurement instruments like micrometers and bore gauges. Join us if you're passionate about precision engineering and eager to contribute your skills in a collaborative environment that values innovation and excellence!
