Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Programmer to help produce machined parts by programing and setting up computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Responsibilities will include planning machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). The position works closely with the development team to introduce new parts; creates and updates Work Instructions related to CNC Operations; and works with Quality and Production to troubleshoot to improve Quality Issues and Efficiency. The ideal canddate will also show an interest in continuous improvement on the production floor to include but not limited to efficiency, safety, quality, etc. Ability to operate digital, dial and vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauges, inspection gauges, protractor, tape measure, CNC milling machines, computer, and access/update computer files. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment, if required, such as safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection and any other safety equipment required. Prior experience programming and setting up CNC machines is required, preferably 2-3 years of experience, experience in Mastercam and/or other CAD/CAM software preferred.
