Job Description

Overview Excellent opportunity for an experienced full time CNC Programmer to join the Selux team responsible for building high end architectural light fixtures. Monday - Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, OT available. Paid time off, paid holidays and full benefits.
Salary:
$25 - 40/hr Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and engineering drawings to create accurate CNC programs. Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for: Hypertherm plasma cutting systems Kitamura 4-axis milling machines Traditional turret punches and press brakes Set up machines, verify tool paths, and conduct trial runs to ensure parts meet Selux quality standards. Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to maintain production efficiency. Collaborate with engineers, production supervisors, and machinists to optimize processes and reduce waste. Maintain accurate documentation of programs, machine setups, and revisions. Recommend improvements in programming methods, tooling, and machining strategies. Carry out production, inspection and machine operation duties Effectively monitor production equipment Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the guidelines Practice and follow safety protocols Qualifications Proven experience in CNC programming for plasma cutters, milling machines, and press brakes. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar). Strong understanding of G-code and machine-specific programming languages. Experience with 4-axis milling and multi-axis setups. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of material properties, metal fabrication, and machining processes.
