Our team works with high-precision equipment and components to support quality-driven manufacturing and dependable production solutions for our customers. Summary Responsible for programming, setting up, and operating high-precision CNC milling equipment to manufacture close-tolerance components for injection molds. Creates and optimizes CNC programs, produces high-quality parts in hardened tool steels and graphite, and supports the Tool Room in mold manufacturing and repair. Essential Functions  Program complex 3-axis toolpaths using Mastercam for mold components and electrodes.  Use SolidWorks to interpret models and prepare geometry for programming.  Set up and operate CNC milling machines including Mikron Mill S 500 and Haas VM2.  Perform hard milling and high-speed machining on hardened tool steels.  Manufacture precision graphite electrodes for EDM processes.  Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools.  Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine cleanliness.  Collaborate with Mold Makers and Engineers to ensure manufacturability and accuracy.  Follow company and OSHA safety policies. Qualifications

Required:

 Proficiency in Mastercam for CNC programming.  Ability to read and interpret 3D CAD files (SolidWorks preferred).  Hands-on CNC mill setup and operation experience.  Understanding of machining principles, tooling, and feeds/speeds.  Strong attention to detail and ability to hold tight tolerances.  Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 40 lbs or more.

Preferred:

 Experience running Mikron Mill S 500 and/or Haas VM2.  Experience with hard milling or high-speed machining.  Experience machining hardened tool steels and graphite.  Exposure to mold making or Tool Room environments.
