Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of printing and fabrication presses to produce high-quality products efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with advanced machinery such as flexo presses, stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming. Your expertise in blueprint reading, precision measurement instruments, and manufacturing processes will ensure that production standards are consistently met or exceeded. Responsibilities Set up and operate a variety of presses including flexo, stamping, and CNC machines with precision and adherence to specifications. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment using CAM programming techniques; adjust parameters for optimal performance. Conduct routine maintenance on presses and related machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality standards. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including materials handling and fabrication tasks. Perform quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Operate hand tools and tooling equipment for assembly line tasks or fabrication projects. Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, machine adjustments, and process improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine logs, and quality reports. Experience Proven factory experience working with manufacturing equipment such as flexo presses, stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC programming, CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), and press brake machines. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers used in automated machinery. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise manufacturing. Skilled in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, machining techniques, welding, fabrication, and tooling setup. Experience operating precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers in a manufacturing environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to manufacturing processes. Strong understanding of quality control procedures within a manufacturing facility. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for materials handling tasks. Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus for design interpretation. Demonstrated ability to work effectively on assembly lines or in fabrication environments while adhering to safety standards. Pay:
$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
