Job Description

Job Title:
CNC Programmer (Full time)
Job Desicription:
This position requires a highly skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to support precision manufacturing operations through advanced programming, setup, and process optimization. This role is responsible for developing efficient machining strategies, designing fixtures, maintaining tight tolerances, and helping ensure quality, productivity, and continuous improvement throughout the production process. This person will receive on-the-job training regarding company-specific processes and procedures and will report to the Vice President for both training and supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, revise, and refine CNC machining programs using CAM/CAD platforms such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360
  • Fine-tune feeds, speeds, toolpaths, and offsets to improve cycle time, performance, and tool longevity
  • Design jigs and fixtures to support accurate, efficient production
  • Set up and program machines, ensuring the first piece is produced successfully and meets requirements
  • Diagnose and resolve complex machine, tooling, and fixture issues to maintain smooth production flow
  • Review work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, material requirements, and specifications to guide production
  • Use advanced GD&T knowledge, blueprint interpretation, and shop math to hold tight tolerances
  • Assist fellow machinists with setups, machine operation, and troubleshooting as needed
  • Perform cost analysis to aid in quoting
  • Adhere to
ISO 9001
standards and internal Quality Management System procedures at all times
Requirements:
  • Extensive CNC machining experience at an advanced skill level
  • Hands-on experience with 4-axis and 5-axis milling operations
  • Strong practical background in jig and fixture design
  • Demonstrated ability to program CNC equipment effectively
  • Experience working in precision manufacturing environments with tight tolerances
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Reliability and dependability are a must
  • Formal education or training in machining and CNC programming is a plus
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
