Responsibilities:
Program Development:
Create and optimize G-code/M-code for Swiss-type lathes and multi-axis turning centers to maximize efficiency and minimize cycle times.
Blueprint Interpretation:
Read 3D models and blueprints using GD&T to determine the best machining processes.
Setup & Tooling:
Select cutting tools and work-holding methods; develop clear setup sheets for the production floor.
Troubleshooting:
Perform first-run proofing of new programs and resolve complex machining issues to maintain quality.
Quality Compliance:
Collaborate with QA for First Article Inspections (FAI) to ensure all parts meet
ISO 13485
standards. ...

PM Skills:
Experience in medical device manufacturing or another highly regulated industry (Aerospace, Semiconductor). Proven track record of cycle-time reduction and process optimization.
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of CNC programming specifically for Nakamura-Tome or Swiss-type (Citizen/Star) machines.
Software:
Proficiency in CAM software such as Esprit or PartMaker.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Math Skills:
Strong command of trigonometry and shop math.
