NX CAD/CAM
software to meet engineering specifications and production goals Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately translate designs into machine instructions Optimize machining processes by applying lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste Set up and troubleshoot CNC milling machines and lathes, ensuring proper tooling and fixture alignment Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions Collaborate with design engineers using CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA to review models and ensure manufacturability Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to maintain tight tolerances and quality control Maintain detailed documentation of programs, tooling setups, and machining parameters for quality assurance Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing machining processes and implementing best practices in lean manufacturing Requirements Proven experience in CNC programming with proficiency in
NX CAD/CAM
