Job Description

CNC Programmer Overview:
National Granite Luxuries, dba/National Design Mart CNC Programmers are responsible for ensuring that the customer expectations are being met by ensuring the product selected is cut and fabricated according the work order. Requirements q Previous experience in the granite industry. q Demonstrated ability to problem solve. q Knowledge of different stone. q Ability to participate effectively as a team member; willing to cross train on other positions within the department. Responsibilities q CNC Programming (90%) Work in conjunction with saw programmer, preview layout of scheduled jobs, meet department goals q Knowledge & Training (10%) Identifies personal growth needs and improvement opportunities; seeks to obtain product information; learns and assists others in learning about the CNC machine, CNC machine operating and installation techniques; communicates with others. Physical Aspects q Ability to operate computer programs q Ability to operation a forklift Equipment Used q CNC machines, Alpha cam q Completes all necessary paperwork q Performs numerical computations using an adding machine and/or calculator. q Knows the functions of and uses a variety building industry related tools. Management reserves the right to add additional responsibilities as the needs of company change
