Your Key Responsibilities Rotate in departments related to the trade to complete 8000 on-the-job training hours and successfully complete related classroom instruction specific to the trade Work closely with a Journeyperson to create/maintain CNC programs using CAM and must be proficient in understanding NC code and writing NC programming manually Work closely with a Journeyperson to develop new processes, and optimizing existing turning, milling, and grinding processes for automotive components Optimize processes for improving tool life and cost, process capability and cycle time Requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and apply acquired skills Your Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical aptitude and knowledge Hands-on learner Blueprint reading CNC machining Accuracy in measurement Metal cutting practices Math Enthusiastic about their career in skilled trades Excellent communication ability (written & verbal) Positive work ethic Problem solving skills As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
