Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support a high‑performance aerospace manufacturer operating a large advanced machining facility equipped with some of the most capable systems in the region. They've built up a sizable backlog with a major aerospace customer because they've proven they can reliably deliver highly complex aerospace work, and that success is driving rapid growth in demand as the business scales. The ideal candidate has strong NC programming experience , supports first‑run prove‑outs on the shop floor, and works closely with Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality to ensure stable, repeatable processes. Duties Develop NC programs for CNC milling and mill‑turn machines supporting complex aerospace components Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications to define machining strategies Program 5‑axis CNC milling using
CATIA CAM
Program mill‑turn and lathe operations using CAM software as applicable Define cutting strategies, tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding approaches Create and maintain setup sheets, tool lists, and in‑process inspection requirements Perform NC program verification and validation using Vericut Support first‑run prove‑outs on the shop floor and refine programs for quality and efficiency Analyze and modify programs to improve cycle time, process stability, and manufacturability Coordinate with Planning and Quality when program changes require new First Article inspections Maintain program revision control and historical records per quality system requirements Support machinists and manufacturing personnel with troubleshooting and process clarification Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Proven hands‑on NC Programming experience in a manufacturing environment High proficiency in programming 5‑axis CNC milling (CATIA experience preferred•) Experience validating programs using Vericut Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D models Experience supporting CNC programs through first‑article and production runs Experience managing programming teams in a manufacturing setting is a big plus
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
