Within a 14,000+ sq. ft. facility, we house a marble shop where we fabricate our countertops in-house. We also have our own team of installers to ensure our customers receive the highest quality service and product.
Role Summary:
The CNC Programmer / CAD Technician is responsible for translating project specifications into precise digital programs that guide our fabrication equipment, including CNC machines and waterjet saws. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality in the production of custom stone countertops and surfaces. You'll work closely with templaters, project managers, and the shop team to take measurements and designs and turn them into finished products. Key Responsibilities Create and modify CNC programs for fabrication of stone countertops and related materials Program and operate waterjet saw equipment for precise cutting Use CAD software to design layouts based on project specifications and field measurements Interpret digital templates and job specifications to ensure accuracy in production Collaborate with templaters and project managers to clarify design details and resolve discrepancies Optimize material usage and cutting layouts to reduce waste Ensure all programming aligns with production timelines and quality standards Troubleshoot programming or machine-related issues as needed Template cabinets at jobsites with digital templating systems to capture exact countertop dimensions. Qualifications Experience with CNC programming, CAD software, or similar technical systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
