The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing and refining machining programs to support milling operations and ensure that parts are produced accurately and efficiently according to engineering requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Create and edit programs for vertical, horizontal, and 5-axis milling machines Use CAM software to generate toolpaths and machining strategies Interpret engineering drawings to plan sequences of operations Update and optimize existing programs to improve quality and efficiency Select tooling and contribute to fixture and work-holding solutions Prepare setup instructions and documentation for machine operators Coordinate material requirements with purchasing staff Work closely with engineers, machinists, and supervisors to support production needs Manage job priorities and assist with program revisions as needed Perform additional programming and process-related tasks as assigned Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years' experience CNC programming with CAM software (Mastercam or comparable platforms). Knowledge of advanced machining techniques (5 yrs) such as MasterCam 2020 or newer. Own your own precision measuring tools Background as a CNC mill machinist; turning experience helpful but not required Ability to program and machine a variety of metals and plastics Proficient in blueprint interpretation Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills Able to work independently while communicating effectively within a team Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality work and consistent attendance Exceptional work ethic and job history with longevity Growth Opportunities:
