Position:
We are currently seeking a Sr. CNC Programmer for our mill and lathe dept. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10yrs CNC Programming experience on Mills, Lathes & Mill-Turn. This is a day shift position, with the option of working 4-10s or 5-8s and start time negotiable.
Duties :
  • Program using Mastercam & Esprit for 3, 4 & 5 Axis mills, lathes, mill-turn & robotic systems (e.g. horizonal cell).
  • Design and make fixturing.
  • Develop tool lists and maintain central tool library.
  • Map out optimal manufacturing workflow for parts that require multiple sequential operations or automated pallet changing systems.
  • Oversee & advise on initial test runs of new programs, including FAI.
  • Optimization of legacy CNC programs, with the goal of cycle-time reduction & repeatability.
  • Diagnose and fix real-time programming issues, kinematic errors, or quality deviations.
  • Provide DFM feedback for new parts.
  • Support shop floor personnel and provide technical guidance to junior programmers as needed.
  • Work closely with our Quality Manager to analyze inspection data and trends to make improvements for production repeatability.
Skills/Attributes:
  • Highly knowledgeable and proficient at CNC Programming for mills, lathes, mill-turns and automated systems. A production-oriented mindset is ideal for this position.
  • Thorough knowledge and applicational use of common shop inspection equipment.
  • Approachable and leads by example. Settles disputes calmly and professionally.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly reliable
  • Positive attitude.
  • TEAM player.
  • Able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
Education/Experience:
  • HS Diploma / Certificate in Machining desired.
  • Minimum 10yrs CNC Programming.
COMPENSATION
Min Start $45/hr.
