Full Job Description CNC Programmer Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Location:
Greater Lehigh Valley area 21st Century is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a premier industrial manufacturer in the Greater Lehigh Valley area.
CNC Programmer Summary:
The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs, translating blueprints into accurate CAM instructions, selecting tooling and machining parameters, and running simulations to ensure precision. They support machinists, troubleshoot issues, and improve programs to boost efficiency and maintain high-quality machining standards.
Responsibilities:
Create CNC programs for lathes, boring mills, and multi‑axis machining centers Translate blueprints into CAM instructions and develop 3D models Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for each job Run simulations to verify program accuracy and safety Improve existing programs to reduce setup time and increase efficiency Collaborate with machinists and provide clear instructions Troubleshoot programming or machining issues as they arise Ensure all programs meet quality and safety standards
Requirements:
3+ years CNC programming experience Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit, GibbsCAM, etc.) Experience programming or editing on Siemens/Sinumerik controls Fanuc controller experience Blueprint reading skills and strong shop math Precision measuring tool proficiency Strong communication and ability to work independently Problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
Salary:
