Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Programmer and become a vital contributor to precision machining excellence! In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to produce high-quality components with accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise will help streamline manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and support innovative engineering solutions. We are seeking energetic professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about precision machining and technological advancement. This is a paid position that offers opportunities for growth, skill development, and meaningful contributions to complex manufacturing projects. Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs for various machines including CNC lathes, milling machines, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment using CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA. Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure precise manufacturing specifications are met. Set up CNC machines by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters based on project requirements. Optimize machining processes through lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall efficiency. Conduct toolpath verification and simulation to prevent errors before production runs; troubleshoot issues during machining operations. Use precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, and dial indicators to verify part dimensions against specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, tooling configurations, and process adjustments for quality control and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience programming CNC machinery including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or CATIA for designing parts and fixtures; proficiency with CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming tools is essential. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems for programming and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, schematics, GD&T tolerances, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge of tooling selection, geometry calculations, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and precision measurement instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficient workflows and waste reduction. Excellent math skills including geometry calculations necessary for precise machining operations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by leveraging your CNC programming expertise! We value innovation, precision craftsmanship, and continuous improvement—qualities that drive our success every day.
