About the Opportunity Join a dynamic team focused on bringing advanced manufacturing techniques to a variety of industries. As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in crafting CNC programs, designing fixtures, and refining machining processes. Your expertise will ensure seamless program execution and contribute to operational excellence. What You Will Do Interpret customer part specifications to inform programming and process development. Collaborate with production engineering to create robust models and documentation for machining fixtures. Refine machining operations by developing standard work procedures in partnership with machinists and production engineering. Define optimal machining sequences and process controls, ensuring comprehensive documentation. Generate precise CNC programs for diverse customer products and machine fixtures, supporting 3, 4, and 5-axis milling, turning, and mill-turn equipment. Modify and interpret G-code to optimize machining processes. Design specialized tooling and fixturing solutions. Select appropriate cutting tools to maximize job efficiency and quality. Oversee projects from programming through production, ensuring adherence to customer timelines. Employ monitoring and measuring instruments to guarantee part precision. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of five years of CNC programming experience within a regulated sector (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical). Expertise in CNC programming software; familiarity with MasterCAM and Hypermill is highly valued. Proficiency in reading and editing G-code. Hands-on experience with CNC machining, measuring instruments, and hand/power tools. Strong blueprint reading skills, including a working knowledge of GD&T principles. Competence in using MS Office applications. Preferred Skills Experience with Solidworks or similar solid modeling software.
