Job Posting:
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
Proficiently program CNC Lathes using Autodesk Fusion 360. Design and construct custom workholding for machining operations. Selecting and setting up tooling and workholding on Fanuc controlled Doosan CNC turning centers. Prove out programs to ensure reliable setups. Interpret blueprints, often involving GD&T specifications. Hold tight tolerances by meticulously inspecting parts using various precision tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges). Perform deburring and polishing tasks as needed. Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces. Conduct routine maintenance on machines, including coolant management and chip control. Work collaboratively with the QC department to qualify machining processes. Utilize available tooling and resources efficiently. Communicate effectively with the manager regarding resource needs and operational planning. Plan and establish machining operations, troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in CNC programming and machining operations, specifically lathe work. Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 and experience with Fanuc CNC turning centers. Strong blueprint interpretation skills with a focus on GD&T. Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
