CNC Programmer

Position Summary Masis Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to support our production and supplier needs at the Reading, PA facility. In this role, you will program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce molds and components that meet strict quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Your work will directly support the client manufacturing operations and help ensure our suppliers can consistently deliver top-quality packaging solutions. Key Responsibilities Program using 3D Mastercam with engineering-provided 3D models to support supplier production requirements Set up and operate CNC mills for mold machining and component production Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precision and accuracy Use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for inspection of components Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to support smooth supplier operations Create, document, and update CNC programs and tooling setups for consistent supplier output Collaborate with engineering and other teams to finalize programs and troubleshoot production issues Utilize proper cutter selection and machining techniques to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime Provide feedback to tool designers to improve machining processes and supplier quality Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet Easypak and supplier quality standards Safely operate lifts or hoists to load materials into machines Qualifications High School Diploma required 2-4 years of CNC programming experience General machining knowledge with experience supporting production operations Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
