CNC Machinist Programmer

A metals manufacturer is seeking a CNC Machinist Programmer to join its growing team in a clean, smoke-free, heated and air-conditioned facility. This is an exciting opportunity to work with custom products, used across packaging, paper converting, food processing, printing, recycling, and more, while programming and operating advanced CNC equipment for high-precision manufacturing. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist Programmer position include: 5+ years of related experience in a production or machining environment, with a high school diploma/GED, technical school background, or proven work history. CNC programming experience, including programming and operating

machines and familiarity with Autodesk Fusion 360. Familiarity with Fanuc controls and custom CNC grinding machines. Read, understand, and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings, including working knowledge of GD&T. Set up machines, regulate speeds, feeds, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, and use computerized machine controls. Use measuring tools to verify conformance of finished parts to print specifications. Operate shop tools including cylindrical, surface, and pedestal grinders, along with various hand tools. Maintain safety standards, follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, use proper PPE, and accurately complete part counts and job data entry.

Salary :

$24•$30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
