Job Description

Pay:
Based on experience (pay range is not 100% accurate, pay may be higher than $40/hr depending on skills, knowledge, and if insurance is needed or not)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production of our products.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and tapping
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
  • Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation for machining
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborate with team members and engineers to optimize production processes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
  • Proficient in operating CNC machines and related tools
  • Strong knowledge of machining techniques such as milling, drilling, turning, and tapping
  • Proficiency with blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform accurate measurements using precision instruments
  • Knowledge of CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion360, or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
