CNC lathe Programmer/ Set-Up Operator

CNC Lathe Setup/programming/operator Job shop looking for a skilled CNC lathe Setup person who can edit CNC programs and write simple CNC programs. Our SC plant is growing quickly. We are located just outside of beautiful Elgin SC. We are 10miles east of Columbia and 10 miles west of Camden. Must be able to setup a CNC lathe without assistance if given a program and blueprint. We would welcome someone who is capable of writing and editing programs. Experience with Y axis lathes and live tooling would be a plus. After setting up, this person must be willing and able to show a less experienced machinist how to operate and inspect the part they just set up. Sometimes you will hand off the machine to someone else and sometimes you will run the job yourself. Our average job runs 3-4 shifts, so we set up machines every day. A typical average for this job would probably be 30% setup and 70% machine operation. This is a full-time day shift job, Monday through Friday. pay offer will be based on skills and experience.
