Job Description

Job Summary Join our manufacturing team as a Machinist/Operator, where you'll play a vital role in producing high-precision components using advanced machining equipment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to program and run a 2018 Doosan Turning Center, interpret detailed blueprints, and utilize your mechanical expertise to ensure top-quality outputs. Duties Program, operate, and monitor 2018 Doosan Turning Center with fanuc based control and G Code programming at the control along with knowledge of programming using software and, ensuring accurate production according to specifications. Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to produce precise parts. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and quality standards. Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, inspections, and production logs for traceability. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Experience Proven experience operating Doosan Turning Center, preferably with Fanuc controls or similar systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in manufacturing environments involving metal fabrication. Skilled in reading blueprints and technical drawings with GD&T specifications. Experience programming a Doosan Turning Center using software; knowledge of CNC programming languages is a plus. Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and safety standards within a machine shop setting. Valid forklift certification is advantageous for material handling tasks; welding experience is a plus but not mandatory.
