Full-Time M-F 7am-3:30pm Position Summary Dakota Digital is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality precision components used in Dakota Digital products. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, follows safety procedures, and enjoys working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to production specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and job travelers. Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Make machine offsets and minor program adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in good working condition. Monitor production runs for quality, efficiency, and consistency. Identify and report quality concerns or equipment issues promptly. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Work cooperatively with supervisors, engineers, and fellow production employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. CNC machining experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using precision measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills are helpful. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Use hands for repetitive motions and fine motor tasks. Ability to bend, twist, reach, and occasionally kneel. Good vision, including close vision and depth perception, to inspect parts accurately.
